We are passionate about creating beautiful products from the most natural and sustainable materials… without the high price tag.

We make beautiful scented candles lovingly by hand.

Fragrances inspired by memories of past times spent in the countryside, celebratory moments with loved ones, exciting travels around the globe and the great Australian Bush.

It all began when Julia started making candles for her small BnB accommodation in 2016 for guests to take home as a keepsake. Then, one day a guest asked if they could order 500 candles to help launch a new swimwear brand for a large fashion house in Sydney… and so Rosie and Mable Candle Studio was born and named after her two mini dachshunds!

Our mission is to create high quality products with beautiful design, using the finest, planet friendly ingredients at a realistic price point. We engage and collaborate with other Australian small business owners in the creation and design of our website, photography, label design and packaging materials.

All our candles are hand-poured in small batches using pure eco-friendly 100% soy wax for a cleaner burn. They are cruelty free, petroleum free, phthalate free and 100% vegan. Our wicks are lead-free and made from cotton. Our fragrance oils are hand chosen from the finest ingredients and infused with essential oils and are manufactured in Australia. They are composed of approved natural, naturally-derived, and specialty aroma ingredients. All of the fragrance materials have been studied by RIFM (Research Institute for Fragrance Materials) for safety, and IFRA (International Fragrance Association) and approved with a code of practice for use of the materials. This ensures that all the fragrances we sell are safe for our customers. Each candle is wicked, poured, labelled and packaged here in our studio. We use compostable or recyclable packaging with minimal waste where possible – burn the candle and keep the jar! They make great vases, herb plant pots, cotton ball holders and jewellery holders. Our dedicated small studio is in the picturesque Cudgegong River Valley, 3½ hours northwest of Sydney, in the grape-producing town of Mudgee, NSW.
